A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME...

A working professional actor for the past twelve years, I was born and raised in Mallorca with my two older sisters and surrounded by dogs, diving in the ocean and playing tennis.

Thanks to my mom’s smart choices, I became fluent in English and German during my teens, attending an English-speaking school, spending summers in the Black forest in Southern Germany, and graduating high school in Vienna (Austria). Thanks to my dad’s origins, I served in the army in Finland, but also got to travel worldwide, wherever his job in the International Red Cross would take him: Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Switzerland, Bosnia, Angola, etc.

While attending college in Barcelona to become a translator, I trained extensively as a dancer, and soon discovered musical theatre, which was to define the beginning of my professional artistic career.

Meanwhile, having developed a love for travel early on, I became a flight attendant to make money during the summer season. I worked for three different airlines throughout the years and flew all across Europe and South America. On my last day of contract, just after landing in Madrid from Havana, I got the call that I had booked the new production of Mamma Mia! which would open in Barcelona in the fall of 2007.

In the following years I would perform on tour around Spain and also in Madrid, not just in Mamma Mia!, but also in Monthy Python’s Spamalot –adapted and directed by genius comedic trio Tricicle–, Rent and the original cast of Catalan-juke-box musical Cop de Rock, created by the legendary theatre company Dagoll Dagom. I appeared on the long-running daytime soap opera Love in Dangerous Times on Spain’s national television, filmed national and international commercials, and recorded a few children’s audio books.

Work was abound… but “the top of the mountain is just the bottom of the next one”. So I dropped everything and moved to New York City looking to climb that next mountain. In 2014 I graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy; what happened next is a story of artistic discovery, pursuit, growth, of falling in and out of love and good ole New York City hustle.

I performed off-Broadway ––with The Pearl Theatre Company and on 42nd Street at Theatre Row–– and on national tour ––in the beloved classic Guys & Dolls––, in regional theatre ––Amadeus, Cabaret, Disney’s Mary Poppins––, on short films, commercials and voice over gigs. I dabbled in directing for the stage, began production of my documentary B Positive ––about my friend Richard, his life in the theatre and choosing joy in the face of adversity–– and most importantly, met some of the most exciting and inspiring people in my life.

The story continues: I have found my place in the city, and as I look for the next adventure, I continue working on my mission statement and focusing on my yoga practice, helping me shape the artist that I am.
